From 1 October 2025 onwards, the myBSN Mobile App will no longer function on older operating systems. To continue enjoying smooth access to your accounts, the latest app features, and stronger protection for your transactions, we encourage you to update your device to the latest supported OS.
Updating your OS is not just about keeping the app running, it’s about ensuring your banking is faster, safer, and future-ready. We want you to have the best possible experience, and staying up to date is the simplest way to protect your convenience and security.
Don’t worry, updating your OS is quick and easy; and once done, you can continue banking with peace of mind.
Your current Operating System (OS) will no longer be supported after 1 October 2025. The myBSN Mobile App will only be accessible on the following minimum versions:
- iOS: version 15 and above
- Android: version 11 and above
- EMUI: version 12.0.1 and above
To continue enjoying seamless access to myBSN Mobile App, please ensure your device is updated to the supported OS version before the effective date.
Starting 1 October 2025, the myBSN Mobile App will no longer work on mobile devices running older OS.
- You can still log in to myBSN Internet Banking (www.mybsn.com.my) with your existing User ID and password to perform the following banking transactions (up to RM10,000):
- View your own account
- Transfer to own BSN account
- Payment to own BSN Credit Card and Loan / Financing
- SSP Purchase
- Term Deposit Placement
All of the above transactions are only applicable to customers who have registered and activated the myBSN Mobile App before 30 September 2025.
- However, you will not be able to perform any banking transactions using myBSN Mobile App (until you update your OS).
This means services such as:- QR Pay
- Fund Transfers (IBG & DuitNow)
- Credit Card or Loan / Financing Payments
- Bill Payments / JomPAY
- Prepaid Reload
- SSP Purchase
- e-Gold (sell and purchase)
will not be available.
To avoid interruptions, please update your OS to the latest supported version today. This ensures you continue enjoying secure, convenient, and full access to all features of the myBSN Mobile App.
It’s easy. Just follow these quick steps on your phone:
- Android: Go to Settings > About Phone > Software Information.
- Huawei: Go to Settings > About Phone > Software Version
- iOS: Go to Settings > General > About
To keep using myBSN Mobile App without interruption, here’s what you need to do:
- Update your device
Go to your device settings and check for an OS update. Please update by 30 September 2025 to continue enjoying smooth, secure access to myBSN Mobile App.
- Switch to a supported device
If your current phone doesn’t support the required OS, move to a newer device. After reinstalling the myBSN Mobile App, just reactivate BSNSecure, either at any BSN branch or through our Contact Centre. There’s only a short 12 hours cooling period before it’s ready to use again.
