REVISION OF CREDIT CARDS AGREEMENT FOR BSN CREDIT CARDS

Dear valued cardmembers,

In line with comprehensive review and updating exercise done for all our cards products, effective 15 July 2021, the Credit Cards Agreement for all BSN Credit Cards (Islamic & Conventional) will be revised as below:

Clause 3. Issuance of The Card-i and Services Available
3.1 The Card-i is issued by BSN to the Cardholder based on the Shariah principle of Ujrah which refers to payment of service fee in exchange for services rendered. The services, benefits and privileges under this Agreement shall be determined by BSN.


Clause 21. Payment

  1. The Minimum Payment Due will include:
  1. 5% of Current Balance *
  2. 100% of Monthly Instalment Amount ** (if any)
  3. 100% of Past Due Amount (if any)

OR RM50 whichever is higher.

Clause 1. Definitions
(ee) “Qard refers to a contract of lending money by a lender to a borrower where the latter is bound to repay an equivalent replacement amount to the lender.”
