REVISED EFFECTIVE DATE FOR SHARIAH CONCEPT CONVERSION OF BSN ISLAMIC CREDIT CARDS
Dear valued customers,
Please be informed that the implementation date for the conversion of all active BSN Islamic Credit Cards (“Credit Card-i”) from the Ujrah concept to the Tawarruq concept has been rescheduled and will take effect on 25 October 2025 (“Effective Date”).
The Credit Card-i involved are as follows:
- BSN Al-Aiman Visa/Mastercard Classic Credit Card
- BSN Al-Aiman Visa/Mastercard Gold Credit Card
- BSN Al-Aiman Visa/Mastercard Platinum Credit Card
- BSN-Teachers Al-Aiman Gold Credit Card
- BSN G-Card Al-Aiman Visa Credit Card
- BSN-UUM Al-Aiman Mastercard Gold Credit Card
- BSN-UUM Al-Aiman Mastercard Platinum Credit Card
- BSN Visa Corporate Card-i

By continuing to maintain and use the Credit Card-i after the Effective Date, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions here including the appointment of BSN as the agent to execute the Tawarruq transaction.
If customers disagree with this conversion exercise and decide to opt-out, please email customercare@bsn.com.my or contact BSN Contact Centre at 03-2613 1900 before the Effective Date to request for Credit Card-i cancellation and fully settle the outstanding balance including the management fee.
The conversion exercise will also apply to BSN Islamic Credit Cardholders with a Debt Management Programme under Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK).
For customers who received an electronic direct mailer (eDM), short message service (SMS) or statement message in relation to an earlier effective date, please note that this notice supersedes all previous communications issued through those channels.
Any further information regarding the Effective Date or other changes related to the implementation of the conversion will be communicated via notice through BSN’s official website.
