As BSN and PETRONAS celebrate our 50th anniversaries this year, we are proud to partner with PETRONITA, the association of wives and women staff of PETRONAS, for their annual Orchid Run & Ride 2024. This collaboration signifies our commitment to empowering women and promoting their leadership, as well as supporting community development in Malaysia through sports and engagement activities.

The event was held on the 20th of October 2024, with the run commencing from Plaza Persiaran KLCC through the city centre, welcoming over 8,000 participants from fitness enthusiasts, families, and individuals to corporate organisations. In alignment with their 50th anniversary, PETRONITA offered a diverse selection of running and cycling categories, totalling 50 kilometres to represent their golden jubilee.

Encik Jay Khairil, BSN's Chief Executive, and Encik Izham Ab Wahab, BSN’s Chief Human Capital Officer along with other senior members of BSN, were present to flag off the 5KM and 12KM runs, respectively. They joined YM Tan Sri Tengku Muhammad Taufik, Group CEO of PETRONAS, and Puan Sri Jemilia Md Jelas, President YDP of PETRONITA, at the event. As the platinum partner, BSN conducted a special lucky draw, with lucky winners receiving BSN Sijil Simpanan Premium worth up to RM10,000.

BSN was also thrilled to host our very own Koperasi Kakitangan Bank Simpanan Nasional Berhad (KOBANAS) courtyard for the public to enjoy diverse food trucks and booths by BSN’s micro-entrepreneurs. Through this partnership, we were able to reach a wider audience and showcase our product offerings including the highlights of our 50th anniversary celebration.
