Anniversary Logo
BSN has come a long way from taking over the functions of the former Post Office Savings Bank to becoming one of the pioneers in fostering financial inclusion for Malaysians.
As we reflect on our legacy, we unveil the brand story of BSN 50th Anniversary, focusing on the central theme, "Mendukung Aspirasi, Merentasi Generasi”.
“Mendukung Aspirasi, Merentasi Generasi” is more than just a tagline; it's a tribute to our legacy, a commitment to our mission, and a promise for the future. Together, we look back on 50 remarkable years and forward to many more, continuing to serve generations and supporting the aspirations of all Malaysians.
To celebrate our 50th year in history through inclusivity, BSN has held an internal contest amongst Warga BSN, where hundreds have participated in creating a commemorative logo. The contest not only made the anniversary celebration more meaningful but it also added significance to the milestone. The current BSN 50th Anniversary logo is an enhanced version of the original logo won by Muhammad Hanif Bin Zulkifli from the BSN State Branch - Perak.
The logo has been refreshed and refined accordingly in order to ensure the original logo's strength and suitability are adaptable to all forms of marketing collateral.

Rebranding
BSN underwent a significant rebranding initiative in 2015 to align with growing market trends. The BSN logo has been revitalised to embody our role and purpose in present-day Malaysia. While staying true to the original logo’s strength and equity, it has transformed to embrace a friendlier, more vibrant and modern appearance.
The letters ‘BSN’ have been retained in capital letters to signify solid strength and stability. The money tree symbol, also known as ‘pohon pitis’, represents growth and wealth. The ‘pohon pitis’ symbol is an adaptation of the one made of tin metal bearing 13 coins issued by Sultan Muhammad IV of Kelantan in 1903 when it was still a tributary state of Siam. The coin or ‘pitis’ which in the local Kelantanese dialect means money, was one of the denominations in circulation in Kelantan until 1920. The ‘pohon pitis’ is retained but modified with a modern graphic treatment and the number of coins on the tree has been increased from 13 to 14 coins to represent all of Malaysia’s states and federal territories.
The logo colours have been changed to a fresh teal and white, symbolising trust and reliability.
